I'm new to pipe networks, is there a way to set the default slope when creating a pipe network, i.e. sanitary sewer. i don't want to use a surface
at this time, but i'd like to be able to draw the network with a starting invert and a default slope and have it carry the inverts to the end.

Have you tried setting the maximum and minimum slope to the same value in the pipe rule?
