Default loading families upgrade from 2017

So has anyone else has an instance where they load a family in 2018 and the window pops up saying it has to upgrade the family from 2017 before loading? it happens with the Out of The Box templates, other modeled families.

I cant tell if it's just pulling from the 2017 folder or if some how when 2018 was installed it didn't get the 2018 families.

The weird part...when I installed 2020 it happens there too!

Anyone seen this or have any suggestions?

This is normal Revit behavior. Revit is letting you know that it needs to upgrade the file to the current version for when you save it. Please remember that you that you won't be able to open the file in an older version. This happens when you open a file that is from an earlier version (haven't kept track to see if all of the OOTB files have been upgraded by AutoDesk for the current version).
