    Default background mask

    Summary: background mask to be one

    Description: We need background mask to be on at all times. (mtext and dimensions, etc.)
    Setup up an option to turn off or on.

    If you are talking about wipeouts, you can put them on their own layer and control visibility that way.

    Background masking on mtext, dimensions, mleaders, etc. is not the same as wipeouts.

    This is what came to mind when I read the OP:
    May I ask where do we find this command? I tried it and made some research but there was no sign that this command really exists.
    Is it a LSP or a planned feature for a future release?

    Those posts were suggestions for a complex issue regarding various object types that control it in different ways.
    A search the AutoCAD Wish List for '"background, mask"' including quotes and double quotes returns 44 threads on the subject.

    A search on the AutoLISP should provide code examples for controlling Background Mask.
