Default When I drop my maintenance plan will I still be able to use Revit?

    Hello,

I'm a current subscriber with a perpetual license, maintained for about 14 - 15 years. It's a maintenance plane, not "subscriber." Building Design Suite Premium 2020.

I'm planning to drop (not renew) my plan, and I want to be able to continue to use Revit for simple projects.

Has anyone here done this, and if so what has been your experience?

    Thx. V. McIlrath

My understanding, yes you can continue to use that version. You can't use older versions (not installed along with current version). You won't be eligible for updates (new/adjusted features) to that version (service patches (software repair) I believe you are). If you don't share files with others and are content with the features of your current version then no harm done? However, it might be quite expensive later if you decide to jump back in.

Review the maintenance plan benefits at Autodesk. You should discuss this with your reseller. They will naturally be inclined to persuade you to continue to pay for it.

Good. I checked with my reseller. Ketiv. They say about the same.
    Thank you Steve.

Hmmm... just replied with a thank you, then clicked "Give a bone" and my reply disappeared. ???

    Thank you Steve.

I spoke with my reseller, Ketiv, and got a similar response. My subscription expires on Sep 2. Shortly after that I'll know and will report back - if I can still get in here?!

I've noticed the forum seems to take a moment to refresh and show a new post lately. It's probably what happened with your first reply. This forum is entirely separate from Autodesk, your situation with Autodesk won't impact your membership here at all.
