Default what's the use of this ECCENTRICITY? in the Wall Foundation properties

    Hi, hello U all!
I have a question, after add a wall foundation to a structure wall, in the properties of this wall foundation, there is a property named Eccentricity,
But , when fill in a number and move the cursor to viewport, the number will go back to ZERO automatically! and the element stay in the original position.
In help document , it seemed , that will happen a move , but I don't see any move.
Why it called Eccentricity, but not as usual offset?

Use a smaller value. If the value you enter is wider than the footing it will ignore your input. It shifts the footing toward the wall centerline by the amount you enter. By default it is centered. Enter 200 and it should shift toward (interior toward exterior) the wall by that amount.

    Very nice! It works!
Thank U very much. I really didn't notice that range limitation.

The range limitation is based on the available width of the footing itself. It can't be more eccentric than its face aligning with the face of the wall it is related too. In other words, the edge of the footing can align with the face of the wall but it can't move over and have the wall overhang the footing. Logical limitation.
