Default Creating a "Blank" Dimension string

Ok, I am working on a renovation project, and the field team needs some site and floor plans that they can use for verification of existing conditions and sizes. I'm taking the cadd models that we have received (over 20 years old, and several renovs ago... don't ask...) and based on some other information (photos, etc), creating a base model that I can use as verification drawings.

I want to create a 'blank' dimension style so that I can add a dimension string for easier and clearer fill-in-the-blanks on-site (engineer handwriting - am I right, eh?) However, I can't seem to find a setting that would skip placing the dimension text. What I have done in the past, is simply space out the value; but there are a lot of sheets, and conditions to verify, and I don't want to spend too much time.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

You can always enter a Text Override in Properties for any dimension.
    Take a look at: https://forums.augi.com/showthread.p...sion&p=1127451
    Another old lisp option attached.
