How to add custom hatch pattern in Revit-2017...?

To add existing an existing custom pattern from a .PAT file:

Ribbon>Manage tab>Additional Settings>Fill Patterns>New : Select Custom button>Browse/Import: (browse for .PAT file) > (select pattern by name)/(select scale) > Ok

The HatchKit Addin for Revit can import custom patterns without the scaling issues imposed by the OOTB Fill manager.
