Default quickelevationedit grabs wrong feature line

This seems to re-occur almost randomly, and when it does that feature is useless, I've run audit, recovered the drawing, re-booted, tried the same dwg in 2019, and it keeps happening, pretty consistently today.

I'll select a feature line, pick the quick elevation edit icon in the toolbar, and the blasted system starts trying to edit a completely different feature line. Any ideas on what the blank is going on??

Sounds like the wrong Site is being considered - usually if you've selected the FL before starting the command, that FL's Site is used - you might try manually setting the Site (at command line).

On rare occasion (usually following a fatal C3D app crash), I've experienced this but once I've manually assigned the Site, C3D usually behaves as expected thereafter (w/ & w/o pre-selected FL).

Sites it is. However, until I change sites manually, it wont's understand that the feature line i've selected is on a different site that the ones I was working on previously. Not a deal breaker though, - I can key in 'S' and repick the same feature line to get its site current. Now that I understand the problem it's workable. not ideal, but workable.

Glad you got it sorted, my friend.

I'll see if I can use this thread to get a bug logged with C3D team.

    Cheers
