    Cool Folder too Large

Does anyone know the best way to minimize the size of a folder? We are thinking of breaking our project into 2 seperate folders, Level 1 and Level 2.

Do you mean 'file' or 'folder'? Folder size is only limited by your hard drive or server capacity. File size is what affects performance.

With Revit? Would be silly. You would lose all the benifits of Revit. 50 Mb. shouldn't be a big deal.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you experiencing concrete (rather than perceived) problems with your file?

What are you describing as "too large" regarding the file size? Also, you may want to give the Gurus here an idea of the system you are running; that may have a bearing with file size. But is the system "chugging" with the larger files or showing something undesirable? If so, let us know what it's doing and the attributes of the file.
