Default Multible parts list in same .idw

We need a way to put 2 parts list in the same .idw. We use Frame Generator for a lot of what we do. We want one parts list to show cut lengths and one to show a rollup with total material length of each different shape. I have not found this in any forum. Is there a way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without seeing a sample, it sounds like you need a part list and a material list.

Like the attached, maybe? (Created with FG.)

Yes, that looks like something close to what we want. How did you get that to work if I may ask?

The 2 lists you see in the previous post, are modified versions of the stock part & material list styles available in the Standard drawing template:

For my Parts List, I opened the Style & Standard Editor, made a copy of the Parts List (ANSI), and then modified the list by adding the columns that I needed and adjusting the order. I followed the same process for the Material List, but the only modification was to change the font size.

The only difference between the stock Parts Lists and the Material List (beside the names) is that they display BOM data differently. You can have any number of parts lists on your drawing, if you wish, all displaying different information. Each should have its own individual style defined, though.

This screenshot shows all 3 of the stock lists pulling data from the same assy, but displaying it differently:

All of the changes to the lists can be made at the drawing level, as well.

If you wish to take this offline, send a PM, and I can walk you through the steps.
