    Question Backwards Compatibility

I searched FAQ but didn't find anything about my question. Our company uses Inventor 2018, however one of our suppliers uses 2019. I had heard that there was backwards compatibility starting with 2017. Is this correct? Can I open a 2019 file in 2018?

    Thank you,

    Jim Long

It's not quite that simple. IOW, you loose some functionality using the AnyCAD feature introduced in 2017.4. See this article.
