    Default Custom Hell

so I started with a new company a few weeks ago. I have been using Autocad for 29 years but when I got my workstation I realized that the entire program had been customized and everyone gets the same setup. They even changed the function keys, ugh... Had to buy a gaming mouse to program macros just too get osnap and ortho back. I am close to normal enough but I have one odd thing, when I move, copy, rotate, mirror, anything any object I do not see it move until I select a point. I believe I have all of the Highlight options set correctly but I just want to see objects I am manipulating.

I realize some customization is good but the guy that set this up apparently left a few years ago, I can take out of the box and make it mine but this sucks.

Change your DRAGMODE setting to Auto.

You always see it when using grips for all those commands and don't have to find a button on the ribbon or toolbar to do it.

beautiful, thanks. I feel like I am learning autocad all over again. Extreme customization! I took a job many years ago and was looking forward to it, I sat down and the "CAD Manager" only knew how to customize, all new icons, commands and short cuts, I Left first day.
