    Question 'Flat' Roof/Hip Roof Are Not Joining

    We are attempting to model a type of roof that has a hip roof as parapet, and then a sloping 'flat' roof with tapered trusses inside. I cannot seem to make the flat roof trim itself into the inside of the hip roof.

    I have tried the Join Geometry tool and various flavors of the trim command.

    Any input would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just to tell me that it cannot be done without adding many more sub-elements to the roof.
