    Default Customizing

As a new LT user going from AutoCAD 2004 to LT 2020, I find the object highlighting when the cursor passes over very distracting. Is there a way to turn this "feature" off? Thanks in advance.

Don't know for sure on LT but it's probably a selection option you need to change.
Options>Selection>Preview = check off "when a command is active"

You probably have "when no command is active" checked off which highlights stuff as you pass over them.
