    Default Adding additional surface profiles

Started my profile at 10+00. as it happens sometimes I need to go back 50 ft more.

Its been a while since doing profiles but I remember a method where I would just create another alignment and then sample that as a profile in the original profile view.

I evolved this method because my alignments usually have corridor model with proposed grading. Whenever I edit the geometry of an alignment that deep in design my grading model never wants to act normal again.

    Any input or ideas?

You can superimpose another alignment's profiles onto specific profile views.

If the surface profile is dynamic then it should be as simple as editing your alignment to move its starting location back 50 feet and then editing the starting station by the same amount.
