    Summary: Make Xref's of Layout's

    Description: I would like to be able to create External References from the Layouts (tabs) in AutoCAD.
    This is a pre (actually necessary) for the Documents and Drawings Management Environment (DMS).

    They're easily imported or copied, I'm having a hard time imagining what the purpose would be to xref one. Can you explain what you're trying to accomplish? There may be another way to do it. Which drawing are you wanting to view through the copied viewports xref or current drawing?
