Hey gang, I've got a view title where we include the floor level as a sort of note below the line. Is there a way to give it a length parameter so we can basically slide it left and right?

Nope. There is no way to parameterize the location of text in a family (or length of text box ). You have to create separate families or types with visibility controls for each location.
(Yes, this would be nice to have.)
This can be done by creating a label for the level in a Generic Annotation family and then loading that into the View Title family and linking the label parameter. Then you can add a dimension to the reference line from the Generic Annotation family and make it a parameter. The only issue with this is the parameter has to be a type parameter as Instance parameters are not adjustable with for View Title families in the project.

You can add all the parameters you want, but since the length of the text itself cannot be tied to a parameter it won't have any effect.
