    Default Circuiting Design Options

I have a lighting circuit under an alternate design option, that I can't connect wires or homeruns to. The lights are already circuited to the panel, which is also under the same alternate design option. I have the correct "alternate design option" active, but I can't place and tag homeruns. Does anyone know what would cause this?

    Default Re: Circuiting Design Options

You can't circuit elements that are part of a design option, because it isn't able to hold alternate versions of the panel schedule. (unless that's been fixed since i've tried it) I force the architect or lighting designer to pick an option before circuiting occurs. We'll use design options thru DD phase just for visibility control of an alternate room layout sheet, etc. but all items should be in Main Model before you can circuit them.
