I am afraid I know that the answer is "no", but I will ask anyway.

Typically in our MEP Revit models when modeling new ductwork, riser ductwork will appear as solid lines. When modeling duct drops, it will appear as dashed lines. This applies to a scenario where everything is new.

However, when we are modeling in an existing structure where there is a mix of existing and new ductwork there is a problem. This is due in large part to the way our phasing is set up. All new ductwork will follow the description I described above. However, the existing ductwork drops/rises come out as solid lines in both scenarios. This is because the phase filter is set to show "Existing and New" and the phase filter for "Existing" is overridden by the graphic override in which "existing" will show as a thinner solid line ("new" is set to a bolder solid line). I believe that phase filter graphic overrides are at the top of the hierarchy and therefore that is why the drops are still solid. If that is not true, is there a way to set the drops so that they are hidden lines?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
