    Default Chained Event

    Hi

I am trying to get a scaled action and a rotate action to activate at the same grip.

    Have tried this....
Initially placing both parameters linear for the scale and rotate for the rotaion.
Then selecting scale action for the primary, selecting only the rotate grip, then rotate action for the secondary, selecting all the objects of the block.

    All ok so far!

Then when I select the rotate parameter to change the Chain event to 'Yes' an error occurs.

    'Object was erased' ????

    Then nothing seems to work.

    Any ideas out there .............

    Thx in advance

Keep safe in these decidedly surreal times.

    Geoff

Have also tried a Polar param and scale action
The scale works ok but the object doesn't follow the polar point

    Still pondering ........

Can you post the drawing? It's hard to know what the problem might be without seeing the actual file.

Here's the bare bones of the block with no dynamics.

I have managed a work round by using alignment param and scale action this not quite what I wantged but it will do!

    See revised attachment .....

I didn't have the opportunity to download your pipe-end block. Your use of the alignment parameter and a scale-action associated with a linear parameter is how I've solved this problem myself for my version of a pipe-end block.

However, look at the block I have attached. Is its behaviour what you were initially trying to achieve?
