Default Sliding Window not uses actual Sections

Is there family size reason as not to extrude metal sections in sliding window families ?

Yes families that have a lot of edges and faces can quickly up your file size if you have a lot of them (projects can easily have hundreds of windows). Most often just squared or somewhat boxed out shapes for the window frames/mullions is good enough for elevations and building sections. Then once down to detailing level you can add a detail item for the frame or have the detail item nested in the family and then only become visible at large scales and when cut.
