    Default civil 3d-plot labels

    Hello!
I have in my dwg a xref with caontours and their labels(contour single). In layout the labels are too big and cant see the rest of design. What is wrong?

    HI
first check your contour interval and are labeling major and minor because you have multiple labels here

generally speaking, I find it works better if I do my C3D labeling in the sheet file, rather than in a file I will be xreffing in. Also, specifically for topo, I do not display contours via an xref, instead DREF them into the model space of the sheet. That avoids a lot of problems with text conflicts and location.

The labeling was in a sheet file which was then uploaded to the file I will print.
U meen its better the contours and their ladeling to copy paste to the flile when printing?

um no.... What happens when you plot to PDF from the sheet file? May way to upload a copy of your sheet file w/ xrefs so we can actually see what's there

at 1mm=200m, you are zoomed so far out that the 3mm high labels are covering everything in the 36m wide area of topo
