Default HOW TO PLACE DIFERENTS BLOCKS ALONG A POLYLINE TAKING THE DISTANCES AND BLOCKS NAMES FROM A LIST

Hey, guys, good? So, i need to place a lot of blocks along a extensive polyline and i dont want to do it block by block. So, i thought in create a list with the name block and the distance from the polyline beginning and place it, fast by autolisp. I already searched in a lot of forums but no answer was good enough to do this automation work. Can anyone help me? The list can be an excel file os csv.

The list layout is something like this

    BLOCK NAME | DISTANCE
    BLOCK 1 120
    BLOCK 2 265
    BLOCK 3 671
    BLOCK 4 150

Sorry for my english and much love from Brazil!

Look at your post over at Cadtutor.

The answer is to look at the method in say Chainage.lsp which writes the chainages of a pline at 90 degs for set increments, the core is what you need how it works out the correct point at a distance and text angle.
