    Default Corrupt file/surface

Someone added something to my grading file and now its corrupt.

Done an audit and superpurge but no matter what measures I take to clean the file the first thing I do with a surface causes the file to crash.

    Any suggestions to fix?

DREF it into an empty file, promote it, and export to xml

It will work for the surface. Any way to regenerate or (copy and paste) all contour, spots and slope labels?

not a clean way that I can think of offhand -- think of that as another rationale for keeping the models separate from the sheets/labeling.

the only way I can think of is export the dwg to ACAD version, the labels then become text in new dwg. you can then copy and paste the text back in however they are no longer dynamic
