So assuming you're looking to get each of the 4 points to move in pairs in either the x only or Y only direction.
If memory serves me correctly you'd want to add that point line that is controlled off the center reference and runs in just the x and y direction. Then way the point follows the line and isn't floating freely. ie you need 8 more line (used as references) for the points to "lock" to.
