Smile Create multiple sections from DWG terrain

Hi there , my first post !

I have a autocad dwg which contains a topography made of contour(polylines) .
I want to make multiple sections , and i understand that i need to create a surface from the existing contour .
From youtube i saw that one option is to make surface from "TIN surface" style in the dropdown menu.
Well , this style doesn't show in my menu. Why ?
    How can i correct this?
Is there another way , other than TIN?

Thank you ,hope i explained myself ok

You posted this in the Civil 3D forum, but you mention AutoCAD.

AutoCAD can't do what Civil 3D can with with Surfaces.

Presuming that you do have Civil 3D, show us what your menu looks like and where you think something is missing.
Are you really talking about the old "Dropdown" menus?

You don't even need the dropdown menus or the Ribbon to do what you want. You can do it all from the Toolspace.
