Summary: I would like to be able to assign length or width to a Text or Label element within a family, view, etc., Or to constrain the grips/edges to a reference line/point/plane.

Description: We have had it multiple times in our company, where we go "We could make this work if only we could add a length parameter to the text".

We have tag families for labeling pipes or ducts with the System/Size/Comment parameters, which allows us to update the pipe information automatically during the drafting stage. It saves time for both the reviewer and drafter if the size and system auto-updates when it's resized.

The problem, is that when we have a certain amount of text that goes beyond the length of the Label length, or we have a very tight space (I.E. a hallway or bare spot of floor between overlapping elements), we cannot resize the Tag/Label to fit in this space. More often than not, we have text on backgrounds, or with very awkwardly long leader lines in strange configurations, just to annotate an object in the middle of the page.

Having the ability to change the size of the Tag with grips, or add a reference line that the Labels/Text can constrain to, or even having a Length Parameter for the Label/Text element itself, would make for much easier drafting.

Cheers!
