    Default Conflict with XP?

I get this message when I am running Autocad LT 2004 "The installer has detected that the following programs are running. Autocad LT (ACLT.EXE). In order to complete installation, these programs must be closed." My IT department upgraded me to Windows XP, I never had this problem before, is this a Windows XP bug? Thanks

Not that I know of - we're running LT 2004 here on an XP environment, and no problems. Have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling? Is it just on your machine? If so, see if you can have IT determine (or do it yourself - I know it's sometimes quicker that way) what's different between your machine and a working one.

Hmmm, upon rereading your post, it sounds like everytime you start LT it's trying to install it. This may be a ridiculous question, but you don't have the disk in the drive, do you? Only thing I can think of quickly.
I drink coffee for your protection.
