Page setup invalid media configuration

Plotting to a Canon TM-305 plotter. I can use plot command to print, but I cannot create and save a page setup configuration for the printer. If I do a preview of the page setup, I get an Invalid Media Configuration and no preview. I have to do a page setup configuration every time I want to plot to the printer from the plot command dialogue window. Any ideas why I cannot save a page setup, and plot directly from the plot preview command? Thanks for being such a great resource!

Are you working from a pc3 file or just using the system printer?

I reccomend always using a pc3 file rather than the system printer. When you run the Add-A-Printer Wizard, choose System Printer and then it will prompt you to select a printer you already have installed. It will then copy the settings from the printer to the pc3 file and you can make any changes you want to the pc3 file. Then change your page setups to use the new pc3 file.
