Default Connection of circular sections in steel truss.

    Hello,
I have a problem with joining several beams with welded joints.
First joint: A diagonal chord and vertical bar. When I try to apply a connection (saw - cut flange) to these two sections, left part of a chord suddenly disapears. What is more interesting, analytical model is correct. I attached images 1 and 2 to clarify the situation.
Second joint: I tried to connect five non-collinear bars. Is there any more efficient way to connect them, than connection each to another using welds? Image 3.
