    How can I move a surface from Surveyors local grid to State Plane Coordinates?

    Probably through coordinate transformation. I have not done it, therefore cannot look further into this without sample data.

    Hi
    you can move the surface with the move command. Couple cautions first make sure you have a copy of the original. Second when you move the surface be very careful you to not change the elevations. I would make sure all points involved are unlocked and surface is unlocked make a block of the surface and all points involved. then use the align command to moved and rotate at the same time.
