Dear all,

My problem is simple and it is well documented and, since I cannot afford CADIG's solution and I'm not a coding expert, and although the forum posts that I've searched may address similar questions ( & ), I'm looking for a different approach.

I've coded a macro in excel to create a range based on the current selection, named with the active cell (it is R1C1 of that range). I've then set my data link to be that range and thus would like to have the named range instead of the text in the R1C1, since they are the same.

Problem: since there's no way to have a table cell linked to a field instead I would like to get the named range of my data link in to a field.

Could some kind soul point me on any direction to help me solve this problem? Please take in account that I'm no expert in anything VBA or LISP, and I'm just used to tinker with code, based on old college basic skills.

Thanks in advance to any help.

Regards,

TME
