Trying to break a wall horizontally and not having any luck. Its in a model group so I edit the group then goto 3d or an elevation and the pen tool just wont break it. I have done this on other walls so I know it works. Whats the trick?

Copy the wall, paste in the same spot, adjust the relative top / bottoms.
