Question Fatal Error when Modifying Label Styles [in 2020 & 2021]

Any time I try to edit or modify any of the C3D label styles, whether factory or custom, I get a fatal error and it shuts down...in a hurry. Most of the time before I can even click save on the "attempt to save" dialog box. This doesn't effect all of my drawings, but when it gets a hold of one, it takes other drawings, even new drawings with it.

Things I've tried but had no success:
    - Reboot
    - Wait until the next day
    - Use different Version (2020, 2021)
    - Use different template (3)
    - Use no template
    - different drawing
    - new drawing
    - Update c3d
    - Repair & Reinstall c3d

    Things that have worked:
Emailing the drawing to a co-worker and attempt the exact same edits [identical machine & specs].
(when returned to my machine, the drawing promptly crashed as I tried the same edit)

Any ideas before I take my machine to lunch Office Space style?

may be a hardware problem, i'll suggest running as low-level diagnostics as you can, in particular looking for disk, memory errors. May even pop the RAM out and re-seat it, if your motherboard supports it, look to enable real-time temperature monitoring/alerts.

    HI
Here is a last chance Hail Mary had it work once
One tip that might be of help though is to purge your REGAPPS. Regapps can build up and take a great deal of space if they are not purged and most people don't really think to do so.
You have to purge from the command line and not from the dialog box with -PURGE and then select R

I'll have my IT team look into those. Thank you for the heads up!

I've tried this approach, so far as to make a dwg that has been completely wiped of EVERYTHING...No styles, no layers, nothing. And still crashed like crazy.
