Summary: Pressing Tab key cycles selection for object to be selected

Description: Revit has a feature whereby pressing the tab key cycles through objects that will be selected. If something similar can be implemented in AutoCAD especially when there are overlapping lines. Current methodology is to highlight both then deselect the line not needed.

Turn on SelectionCycling, only pick the one you want. no need for 'Tabbing' as a better method is already in the software

Yeah - that is the way it used to work before Selection Cycling

At some point post that addition, I'm pretty sure you could still use Ctrl to cycle though, but now I'm not sure.
Check into LEGACYCTRLPICK and SUBOBJSELECTIONMODE

As I don't need it very often I leave Selection Cycling off.
I can hover over a line and use Shift+Spacebar to cycle display of each line but cannot see the layer until I select one.
If I thought I'd use it more than once every few months I'd turn Selection Cycling on.
