    Default Regen goes nuts

I have a few drawings from a former employee that when you open them they start to go into what I call a "Regen Loop" they will start to regen and keep going until I input another command to stop it. This only happens with his drawings no others.

    Any ideas?

    Thx,

    Red

Have run a recover on it?

    Is REGENAUTO on or off?

Can you insert and explode it into a clean new drawing and in doing so, does this behavior continue?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

The only way opening a drawing could start a command other than startup code which would run on every drawing you open is if you have VBA enabled.
That also leaves you open to harmful viruses which is why Autodesk hasn't used it in their software since version 2010 or enabled it by default.

I usually an stop it by setting REGENAUTO to off. But his drawings seem to reset it to on?
