    Default Remove duplicate family type

If you select an ordinary section in a plan view it says "Building Section" in the properties box (family type). I somehow managed to duplicate this family type (becoming Building Section 2), but I'm unable to figure out how i can get rid of the duplication! It just annoys me that it's there! Any ideas?

Manage -> Purge unused -> click on 'check none' -> expand 'views' -> expand 'section' -> check the item you want to delete (make sure 'number of items checked' is correct and you're not deleting more staff than needed) -> ok

Ah, thanks. I was looking around in the purge dialog, but never thought about expanding 'views' and 'section'.
