Default room book schedules not accurate

    Hi All
    can any one help me
I have created a room schedule generated from room spaces
The properties for the space list the area as 17.1 square meters (which is correct) but the schedule table lists the area as 18.09 square meters

    any ideas ?
    thanks in advance

Default Re: room book schedules not accurate

    Hi all
    fixed it
I created a room 10mX10mX2m high so I could do the maths.

I then added an all room quantity schedule and the walls were perfect.
I then added a roof to get the ceiling when it dawned on me that the roof was pitched and therefore had a different area than the flat ceiling would duh!
so by making the roof pitch zero the area was exact, 100 M square,
I then tried to add a roof and a slab as a ceiling and low and behold it works!!
The area shown is 100 M squared.
    I hope this has helped.

It almost made my head explode, and the problem like most things turned out to be the interface between the keyboard and the chair.
