Default Feature Line - Insert Elevation Point

I used to inset elevation points and the surface would automatically add the new point(s) and triangle lines. Now they add point nodes/ breaks on the feature line, but the surface does not add. Did I turn off a setting somewhere?

In Toolspace, Prospector tab, expand Surfaces node, right click your Surface and select 'Rebuild - Automatic' menu item.
