Default Linewieght issues when convert model from imp to metric

Here we go again! Been a long time since I've come across this issue! Local Municipal guidlines want all dwgs in metric! Ofcourse the architect used Imperial with Revit than coverted to DWG and now no matter what I do I can't get these lines to plot any thicker!
Hopefully someone has come across this sucker!
    Thanks!

In the plot options, do you have "Plot Object Lineweights" checked?

I was kind of expecting that reply but Yes I generally always plot object lineweights!
    Thanks!

There's not much information to go on. Try posting the dwg or a sample of it.

Odd, We use feet in our drawings and I've never drawn anything in Metric but like the ink pens on my desk all my default lineweights Units for Listing have always displayed in millimeters (mm) not inches (in). Clicking the inches (in) radio button automatically converts them to inches. While it's possible to modify them and some folk like to I've always avoided the urge to avoid issues like this.

Of course I've never used Revit either.

Yes true, we need more info if you want help.
how are you plotting? (what is your process)
what if any plot styles are you using?
do the lines and/or layers have line weights assigned to them?
how are line weights conveyed to the plotting process? (by layer? by object? by color?)
