How do I make the middle button for a double click to equal Zoom Extents?
middle buttons aren't really known for their speed in clicking ability. They're not really responsive in that way. But if their is a way it's probably in your mouse software.
Sounds like you'd be better off to throw the button on a toolbar and hit it or use a "ZE" lisp to where you're just typing two letters and a right click.
I could take you down a whole new rabbit hole of the game pad I use and convenience of having macros programmed into it instead, but that's a lot of added functions and a lot of commitment to programming.
Only way to do it is to set MBUTTONPAN (System Variable) to 0 or Ctrl+double-click middle button.
Personally I keep it set to 1 as I use the time-sensitive right-click customization shortcut and osnap menus.

ok.. wow... mine just did that too. it took a lot of effort to get it to click that fast, but it did it.
