Today, that there is only one single AutoCAD subscription that gives access to all 'flavour' of AutoCAD, it's a little weird that some commands are still reserved to a specific version.
I usually install AutoCAD Mechanical to all user, even if some of them prefer to start with the vanilla version.
These are the links as installed:
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\acad.exe" /p <<VANILLA>> /product ACADM /language "en-US"
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\acad.exe" /p <<ACADMPP>> /product ACADM /language "en-US"
So the difference is just the profile, but the vanilla version does not allow STEPOUT, while the other does!
Even the /product parameter is the same! Does this makes sense?
If I start with a different profile, but the product specified is the same, I expect to find the same commands, even if the UI is basic.
If I want a true vanilla AutoCAD, shouldn't I specify a /product = ACAD?
