Re: Annotation scales - variable, standards, commands
Summary: 1) Create a variable that controls annotation scales through Attached XREFs and inserted Blocks.
2) File to customize all the company standard AS list and a command to recall it.
Description: XREFs or blocks "imports" their annotation scale in current drawings.
and due to the fact that the unused A.S. are not included in the PURGE command
2 features that could be very helpful could be:
1) Varaible to control HOW the AS are imported.
EXAMPLE:
ASVAR (variable)
0 = Default------] all the Xrefs or blocks imports the AS
1 = Only Blocks imports the AS
2 = Only Xrefs imports the AS
3 = No file/object from outside the current drawing imports AS
2) Resetting the AS with -SCALELISTEDIT ] Reset ] Yes
is quite good but if a company normally works with their own AS list could be awesome and timesaving to have a TXT file to edit (that contains all the data, parameters and names of the AS) and a command to recall all the company's custom AS list.
EXAMPLE:
annoscalelistcustom.asl (Filename in the Support folder, such as PGP etc....)
n.1 Annotation Scale per ROW comma separated
Example: (for a mm standard file)
"Company Name - 1:10";1;10
"Company Name - 1:50";1;50
etc..
Example: (for a cm standard file)
"Company Name - 1:10";10;10
"Company Name - 1:50";10;50
etc..
"SCALELISTCUSTOM" (command to recall the AS list)
Comand: SCALELISTCUSTOM ] "do you want to import your CUSTOM AS list?" ] YES ... done.
Hope these feature will be ranked cause is really annoying to keep all the dwgs neat and clean.
