Left side of viewport is plotting, but VP in nonplot

First things first, ACAD C3D 2018.2 (12.0.1386.0)

This one has me truly stumped:

When I plot my sheetfile the left side of the viewport plots but the other three sides do not, and this ONLY happens when the grading XRef is loaded. Of course, it's my grading sheetfile so I kinda need to show the grading XRef. I have gone so far as to create a new sheet from the ACADISO template (the most blank template there is), make a VP and insert the XRef, set the page setup, preview, and it still shows the left side of the VP.

There is NO linework in the modelspace nor paperspace of the sheetfile likewise for the offending XRef.

I've restored previous versions of the grading XRef, back to way farther than the designer is going to want to redo stuff, and it still shows up.

AutoDesk says to use HIDEOBJECTS but, no, that doesn't work either.

It sounds like a corrupt viewport or layout. If you recreate it or create a new one does it work OK?
