change color when activating viewport

Summary: Would like the ability to change color when activating a viewport. the border colorchange is not enough.

Description: Would like the ability to change background color when activating a viewport from paper space. Would also like a different third color if the viewport is unlocked.
Example. Black is default for PS, Activate viewport unlocked pale red. Activate locked viewport pale green.

Seems like that would make viewing the drawing objects difficult.
Status bar already displays what space you're in and also has a lock icon displaying if the viewport is locked or unlocked.
