Unhappy BIM360 insert detail views from another file - not working

Hello all, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm pretty sure it's a BIM360 issue...

I have several projects that I'm working on through BIM360, and I have updated and renamed several drafting detail views in one of them for use on other projects.
While in another project, I tried using the "Insert>Insert from File>Insert Views from File" option (browsing to the other project in BIM360), and those views are not there to transfer.

I made sure all was updated and synced, I even tried it a day later incase there was some sort of lag in syncing.
We tried all the updates, and tricks load the latest under publishing in case that mattered, but no help.

The ONLY thing that worked was to download the source file to a local drive and then I could see/transfer the new drafting views.

Anyone else had this issue and have a solution or is it a known BIM360 issue?

    Thanks in advance.

You've got to download the file, then transfer the views from the downloaded file. This is one major shortcoming with the cloud models I've come across recently.

Thanks Steve for confirming that's just how it is and not something I am missing.
Yes agreed that is a shortcoming!
