I am trying to set up a schedule. I need a total length of every 12" item in my schedule all added together. so instead of multiple lines breaking down each items length i get a total length off all of that size combined. how can i do that?

I was thinking you might be able to accomplish this using Grand Totals in a schedule and having a calculated parameter with formula like "if(Size = 12", Length, 0")" and then the Grand Total line would add all those values together but it doesn't seem to like adding lengths.
You may need to look into a dynamo script to accomplish what you want.

Actually I just figured out the issue, once you have made your calculated parameter, and turned on Grand Totals, go to the Formatting tab and selected the Calculated parameter and change the "no calculation" drop down to "calculate totals".
Thank you! I am going to try that out now.
