Default Qantity Take Off - output as TABLE

We are starting to impliment QTO.

Our first question how to output quantities to a table?

This XSL works and the output is test

    SEI Summary.txt <<rename to XSL

However, trying to use(reuse) some code found in other samples this version
that appears to create a table doesn't work

SEI Summary 2.txt <<rename to XSL

So, it would be great to know why it doesn't work to output a table
AND how to make it output a table/?

In your "SharedLibs.xsl", do you have a template for "OutputTitle"?

Also, it appears you are trying to format your report as a text file, but using CSV template names.

Hope this gets you off center. I'm not great with XSL scripting, but can work through (albeit slowly).

Yes, I do have "OutputTitle" in that SharedLibs file

And, actuall I want a 'table', HOWEVER a bit more carefull review and experimentation, it's starting to look like
one can't actually get a table, one can format the text to look like a table, but it isn't a table.

    From Help File:

    Quantity Takeoff Report Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to view, format and output quantity takeoff reports and tables.

    Report
Displays the report generated in the Compute Quantity Takeoff dialog box.

Note: With Microsoft Excel installed and an HTML report in the Report window, right-click on the report to export the HTML report directly to Excel.
    Report Style Sheets
Specifies the style of the report. On the drop-down list, select from CSV, HTML, TXT, or XML style sheets for either Summary or Detailed reports. Click <Browse> at the bottom of the drop-down list to select other style sheets in the Choose Style Sheet dialog box.

    Draw
Draws a CSV, HTML or TXT report at a specified location in the drawing. HTML reports are drawn as AutoCAD tables, while CSV and TXT reports are drawn as AutoCAD MTEXT. XML reports cannot be displayed in a drawing.

    Save As
Saves quantity takeoff reports to a specified folder. CSV and TXT formatted reports are saved as TXT files. HTML and XML reports are saved as such.

Looks Like "ONLY" HTML returns a table object

Yes, you'll want to use the HTML to get the table into the drawing, or to save it out for other purposes.

    Another question has popped up

Is there a command or a LISP function that will read the pay item information attached to objects?
