    Default MIGRATION FROM C3D 2018 TO 2020

Our IT Department upgraded me from C3D 2018 to C3D 2020 without checking first.
I'm the only person in the office using C3D at the moment.
Main issue is I installed all my files that I had mapped in C3D 2018 to the C3D 2020 file paths.
C3D 2020 is not reading my Pipe Catallog.
Its the same one I used for C3D 2018 so I do not understand why the newer version is not reading the file correctly.
But my structures and pipes are not being read in the newer version.
    Any ideas?
Also, I have been told once we get the problem resolved, we are going to migrate to 2022.
Will I have the same issues? In addition, my linetype are not showing correctly in C3D 2020 when we migrated up.
Specifically, my linetypes using fonts in them to denote existing and proposed utilities linetypes.

For your fonts, look at your Support File Search Path found in AutoCAD options.

Your pipe catalogs are set using the Home tab of the Ribbon in the Create Design grouping. The drop down has a button for pipe network catalog and one for pressure network catalog. You can also type SetNetworkCatalog and SetPressureNetworkCatalog to get to the dialog to set those paths.

And yes. You will need to do the same when you migrate if the files are not contained in the out of the box profiles provided on a fresh install of your software. If you are being migrated again, you might as well do that migration. It may even be wise to wait another month or so and install the latest version after it is released. That is unless your firm waits to install the latest version after a period of time passes after the initial release.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.
