Importing points from Carlson via ascii text file

Has anyone ran into or heard of any issues with exporting an ascii text file from Carlson 2018 with intellacad and then importing it into AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 using the "Import Survey Data" tool?

Situation:

I am a novice btw. Twice now I have imported an ascii file and both times the point have been off about 5'

sounds like the difference between Survey Ft and International Ft unit settings.

Or a glitch in the coordinate systems,
